If you click on some of the thumbnails pictured here, you can see just a few of the built in bookcases and shelving units I have built. I can build just about any design you might like. I can work from your own sketch, from pictures you cut out of magazines, or we can work out a design together to fit your space. It can be a simple, clean design to store books, or an decorative, ornate design to display your treasured items. I build all units on site at your home. I use all hardwoods consisting of poplar, birch and oak. If you have strict budget concerns we can also use pine wood, although using pine will limit the span of the shelves. All of the woods look the same once they are painted. I can incorporate similar molding into the units that you already have in your room, so everything in coordinated. The bottom sections can be shelves, solid panels, or doors. All of the choices are up to you. Built in bookcases add real value to your home and are always an important selling upgrade.
